Q: When did you start playing?
A: I started on the violin when I was 5, then switched to the viola when I was 21.
Q: What made you choose your instrument?
A: My mother took my brother to a free violin lesson at the community centre because he was always singing in the shower. He threw a fit and refused to take the lesson, so I went inside instead. Had I been more aware of my options, I would have chosen to play the cello - it is definitely my favourite instrument.
Q: What kind of things do you like to do when you’re not playing?
A: I love to cook and bake, and I love anything having to do with interior design/ professional organizing!
Q: Who is your favourite composer to play or listen to?
A: J.S. Bach
Q: Favourite book? Movie?
A: Favourites are so hard to pick! Off the top of my head - Book: The Power of One, Movie: Slumdog Millionaire
Q: Do you have a secret indulgence?
A: I mean, it's not a secret; I will eat an entire pint of Ben & Jerry's while watching hours on end of reality TV.
Q: Who was your hero when you were 10? Who is your hero now?
A: My heroes have always been my brothers and my parents.
