This season the HPO is launching what may be our most unique fundraising campaign yet. Affectionately dubbed Keep Jamie Warm, the main image of the campaign features Music Director Jamie Sommerville wearing his ratty old blue scarf full of holes and looking like he could really use a new one. That's why every donation of $50 or more will add rows to a new scarf for Jamie, but most importantly will support the HPO's growth in our community and will help make the music happen.
Additionally, an anonymous donor has stepped forward to match every new dollar donated to the HPO through Keep Jamie Warm. Whether you've never donated to the orchestra before or you're a current donor in a position to increase your gift this year, your new gift will be matched dollar for dollar. The end result will be a beautiful brand new scarf of monumental length knitted by HPO volunteers that is a visual representation of our community's support of the HPO.
Look for the Keep Jamie Warm banner and table at upcoming concerts, and please consider making a gift to this unique campaign. With each donation of $50 or more you will receive a token of thanks: a silver and black lapel pin that's a mini version of Jamie's new scarf inscribed with the letters HPO.
